Description
We are looking for a System Engineer for our long-term multiyear project out of Madison, WI (Remote till COVID).
Responsibilities:
Systems Engineer will play a key role in the design, planning, execution, and installation of the current infrastructure to support new applications and technologies. Support software and hardware upgrades and maintenance of Windows servers, operating systems, infrastructure systems, and applications. Must have extensive experience with standard industry practices including management of Windows Server systems. Systems Engineer capabilities with 8 or more years of experience, relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, independently performs a variety of complicated tasks, a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
Skills & Experiences:
Knowledge of Windows desktop support.
Professional oral and written communication skills.
Problem determination and resolution skills.
Knowledge of Cloud technologies such as AWS and Azure.
Working knowledge of Active Directory and Group Policy Management.
Experience in writing PowerShell scripts to automate system engineering tasks.
Experience managing Microsoft’s Internet Information Services (IIS).
Experience managing iOS mobile devices.
Experiencing administering AirWatch and Apple Business Manager.
Experience supporting organizations by working within a help desk ticketing system.
Expert working knowledge of Microsoft server operating systems.
Expert working knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMware.
