For one of our long-term multiyear full time projects, we are looking for a Head of Cloud Engineer.

• Key Accountabilities:

1. Drive Cloud Modernization Roadmap

1. Provide strategic leadership and direction to steer the roadmap for modernization and migration of legacy capabilities to Public Cloud
2. Drive the decision making around cloud migration approaches and trade-offs based on business case, technology strategy alignment, product strategy and operational efficiencies

1. Govern Cloud Architecture Strategy

1. Provide cloud architecture thought leadership on emerging cloud engineering patterns and practices including API led connectivity, Event Driven integration, modern data platform architectures.
2. Steer the decisioning around buy-build-reuse in the architecture strategy evaluating capabilities of Cloud and SAAS offerings
3. Manage and plan architecture strategies to balance BAU continuity in the interim state for complex cloud migration journies
4. Bring thought leadership on data integration strategies with external providers and services
5. Establish metrics and measurements to govern architecture quality, technical debt, alignment to industry best practices and frameworks such as Azure Well-Architected Framework

1. Manage Business Resilience and Security in Cloud

1. Decision making on critical security and compliance requirements in the cloud based on Info security and regulatory requirements
2. Provide direction to ensure the future state architecture is secure by design, meets data governance and data privacy requirements
3. Define the process and automation to ensure enterprise resilience in the cloud leveraging Site Reliability Engineering principles
4. Establish Risk Management and Mitigation strategies to ensure continuity of critical business processes in the Cloud based on the SLOs/SLAs

1. Drive Continuous Delivery Model for Cloud Capabilities

1. Own the overall Cloud Platform Automation strategy to enable business to rapidly consume cloud services, improve developer productivity, optimize the cloud platform spend
2. Drive adoption of ALM and DevOps strategy, enabling agile product development and continuous integration, Continuous Deployment and Continuous Testing best practices.

1. Drive Operational Excellence in Cloud

1. Own the Cloud Service Delivery and Service Management based on ITIL processes and frameworks
2. Promote continuous monitoring and observability, everything-as-code mindset steering towards a touchless cloud operations paradigm
3. Anticipate and plan for achieving scalability and performance objectives while optimizing the overall cloud spend

• Experience you have:

1. Hands-on experience in transforming application portfolios to public cloud
2. Demonstrated deep architecture expertise with applying modern design patterns that leverage Azure PAAS, FAAS and Data Platforms to application modernization scenarios
3. Experience with architectural reviews, leveraging tools where possible to automate quality checks
4. Executed complex multi-year cloud transformation journey at scale
5. Methodologies for adopting agile dev/test engineering at scale using SAFE or other industry frameworks
6. Has expertise in ITIL processes/practices/methods as well as designing and implementing IT services
7. Experience in implementing DevSecOps capabilities especially with continuous integration, continuous delivery and environment automation (“infrastructure-as-a-code”, automated provisioning, deployments and runbook automation)
8. Knowledge of tool sets across the cloud value chain e.g.  Azure DevOps, Hashicorp Terraform, AppDynamics, ServiceNow, Azure Monitor, etc.
9. Extensive experience transitioning complex end to end IT Service Management within multi vendor environment
10. Has abilities to plan for organizational change management, especially the impact of cloud to roles, organization structure and change readiness
11. Excellent communication and project management skills; adept at managing stakeholders at all level
12. Strong coaching and mentoring skills
