For one of long-term multiyear projects, we are looking for a Data Modeler out of Dallas, TX.

Required Skills:
• 7-15 years of experience with information technology programs and services, with demonstrated expertise in enterprise data management and related technologies
• 5-15 years of data architecture experience
• 5-15 years of data modeling experience
• Thorough knowledge of ERwin Data Modeler (V8 or higher) or a comparable CASE tool
• Knowledge of Agile development methodology and concepts
• Experience working as a member of distributed data architecture teams
• Understanding of information systems and data life-cycle management best practices and methodologies, formal systems engineering life cycle (SELC), and systems development life cycle (SDLC)
• Hands-on SQL experience
• Good understanding of the available database management platforms in the industry.
• Effective communication skills and relationship management skills
• Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products
Desired Skills:
• Experience with any ETL tool (Informatica, DataStage, etc
• Experience with any Business Intelligence (BI) tool (i.e. Cognos, MicroStrategy, Business Objects, etc
• Experience with data warehousing principles
• Experience with any commercially available industry data model (i.e. IBM’s Financial Services Data Model)
• Good understanding of the concepts in the financial industry, especially in trade, clearing and settlement
• Experience with any data profiling/data discovery tool
Education/Certification:
• Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization (Computer Science or Information Systems)
• Data management and data architecture related certifications (i.e. TOGAF) is a plus
