Description

For one of our ongoing multi-year Project, we are looking for an Accela Business Analyst  who can work on a Hybrid basis from office( 2 days a Week) out of Denver Colorado.

The Senior IT Business Analyst will help support the Accela solution across the permitting, licensing, and inspection processes and business needs of our technology solutions. 

In this role, you will be expected to learn some the various departments processes. Working in Azure Dev Ops (ADO), you will create and maintain business requirements for Accela. You will also assist with testing coordination activities and some production support activities and additional systems and/or projects, as needed. Daily responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Perform requirements gathering and workflow analysis. Identify business application and integration opportunities, along with solutions for resolving process problems.
  • Create technical and functional system specifications and translate requirements for developers. Act as a business point of contact for system testing as needed.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the processes and tools used by other systems analysts.
  • Experience Requirement:
  • Proven ability to work in Agile and Agile-hybrid environments, utilizing tools such as ADO or Jira
  • Flexibility to own both large, enterprise-level systems and support specialized, smaller-scale applications.
  • Tools and Applications:
    • Microsoft Office Suite and Visio
    • Azure Dev Ops (ADO), JIRA, or another like tool
    • Experience with Accela or other permitting/licensing software.
  • Experience with workflow analysis and integrations.
  • Knowledge of various requirements gathering and modeling techniques, such as BPMN
  • Experience working with and educating customers on utilization of technology/industry best practices.
  • Passion for accurately documenting functional and technical requirements.
  • Practical knowledge developing and coordinating end user testing.
  • Experience with business process development and ITIL change management.
